So I stole this from my own first entry, because I’m lazy…but here’s what this blog is all about:
I’m 29, I grew up in Southern California and now live in Sacramento with my lovely boyfriend, dog and kitty. I have a much unused degree in Fine Art from Cal Poly Pomona…I graduated in 2004 a very jaded and burned out artist. I have spent the years in between then and now working various administrative jobs and just generally drowning my creative side in paperwork. I did it on purpose…I had to get away from art for a while. It has just been in the past couple years that I have had the inspiration to start being an artist again.
My art tends to center around music, love, or nature…all three things I have a love affair with. My perfect existence would involve making a living singing in my band (I actually sing in two different bands right now, it’s an AWFUL lot of fun), selling my artwork, and living on the coast somewhere warm, lol. I don’t suppose this is too different from a lot of people’s perfect lives, so I guess I have a lot of work ahead of me!
This is a pretty cool idea. Are you really 29? Glad you’re enjoying your art and your music … your cat and dog … and your ‘lovely boyfriend’. Remember it’s the ‘doing’ that makes you an artist .. not the degree or even how many pieces you sell. Listen to your heart – and never quit.
I saw your artworks at Mr.Pickle in downtown. They look really beautiful. I would like to be like you oneday, doing art, and playing music. It is dream. No other dream is better than this. Keep up the nice works.
Thank you so much Tyler! It took me a long time to gather enough courage to put myself out there, but I could not be happier that I have. Thanks for looking at my work!

Hey Larissa! I LOVE your work! Do you have any pieces for sale right now? Pics/Prices?
Hey Jenn – thanks for the compliment! I do have pieces for sale right now – some that are posted here and some that I haven’t put up yet. Pretty much anything is up for grabs, lol. I will also do custom work if you have an idea you’d like to be carried out. Prices vary depending on size and amount of sculptural aspects and detail work, but right now I don’t have anything over $250. Let me know if you would like to talk more or want a price for a specific piece.
Thanks again for the compliment and for visiting the site! I need to get working on a new blog post here I guess, lol!!
